Between 6 and 18 of July, 2015, me and a group of colleagues from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon attended an artistic residence in the Algarve village of Alte, near Loulé. For two weeks we had to develop an artistic project that involved the community. So, naturally, I decided that mine would be a set of short stories in comic form, something that would illustrate the daily life and the most striking moments during those 15 days that we spent in Alte.
Distributed over three volumes, Altemente kept a narrative quite open and loose. I sought a free and relaxed spirit to match the environment and the fantastic people who were part of these stories. Due to the spontaneity of these events, there is no fixed sequence: there is only one theme that links the various moments that have been lived throughout the stay. |
Series of 3 comic books, 16 pages each, about my stay in an artistic residence in Alte, a small village in the interior of Portugal.
Published by Comic Heart. 2016 Volume 1, 2 and 3 16 pages (each) Black and White |
