Comics Workshop @ FVP

Hello!

On 17th of July, I was invited to spend a day with the kids of FVP Foundation, in Telheiras, in Lisbon.
We spent the day together talking about and making comics. The children had to depict their neighborhood in pictures and text, drawing about what they saw and what got stuck in their memories.
It was a nice and fun way to introduce comics as a form of writing, thinking and preserve memory.

No dia 17 de Julho, fui convidada a passar o dia com o grupo de crianças da Fundação Vox Populli, em Telheiras, em Lisboa.
Passámos o dia juntos a conversar e fazer Banda Desenhada. As crianças tiveram que retratar o bairro de Telhereiras através de imagens e texto, desenhando sobre o que viram e o que ficou preso na sua memória.
Foi uma maneira simples e divertida de introduzir a banda desenhada como uma forma de escrever, pensar e preservar a memória.
