Presentation and open talk about "Spineless Cactus" graphic novel, comics and illustration

On 5th March 2018, I had the pleasure to be part of Semana da Leitura (Reading Week), an anual initiative of the National Reading Plan (Plano Nacional de Leitura - PNL), a government protocol program that promotes reading habits and interest on literature in schools.
I was invited to visit Carvalho Figueiredo high school, in Loures, to talk about my graphic novel "Spineless Cactus". The students of 9th grade read and analyzed the book in literature classes!
During the talk, they were able to ask me questions, tell me their opinions about the book and perform a play based on their interpretation of the story. It was amazing!

No dia 5 de março de 2018, tive o prazer de fazer parte da Semana da Leitura, iniciativa anual do Plano Nacional de Leitura (PNL). 
Fui convidada a visitar a escola secundária Carvalho Figueiredo, em Loures, para falar da minha Banda Desenhada "Nem Todos os Cactos Têm Picos". Os alunos do 9º ano leram e analisaram o livro em aulas de literatura!
Durante a conversa na biblioteca, os tiveram a oportunidade de fazer perguntas, dar as suas opiniões sobre o livro e fazer uma pequena peça de teatro em base na sua interpretação da história. Foi fantástico!
